Patient Account Rep (Collections and Insurance Follow Up - Managed Care) » Performs collection and follow up activities related to the successful and expeditious resolution of Hospital Inpatient Acute Care Accounts. Collection and follow-up experience in a Hospital setting required; knowledge and understanding of all major insurers, particularly Managed Care/HMO is required. Above average organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task in order to achieve set departmental and hospital goals. [internal only]
HVAC Mechanic » Performs maintenance, repairs and installation of all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and units throughout the hospital facility. Inspects and operates HVAC/r equipment, air conditioners, heat pumps, refrigerators, freezers, water coolers, etc for proper functioning. Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions in HVAC/r equipment. Central Service (Sterile) Tech » Responsibilities include decontaminating, inspecting, assembling and processing instruments, instrument sets and sterile supplies used in the operating room and throughout the hospital; responsible for assembling case carts and transporting them throughout the hospital, as well as, decontaminating patient care equipment. Requirements include HS Graduate/GED, a minimum of 2 yrs related experience, and the ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English. CPSDT or CRCST certification preferred and will be required upon completion of 1 yr of employment. Physical demands include the ability to push, pull and lift a maximum of 50 pounds. [internal only]

Reviews and revises policies and procedures in order to comply with the hospital’s mission, JCAHO, funding sources criteria, department of health, senior services and best practices.

On Site Administrator » Reports to DON and interacts with Nurse Mgrs. Implements and coordinates staffing plan; identifies appropriate assignment of nursing personnel to meet budgetary standards. Requirements: Valid NJ RN License and current BLS.

Speech Therapist » Responsible for patient evaluation and the application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for the speech/language, aural, swallowing rehabilitation of patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and oral motor disorders. Qualifications: Masters Degree with 2-4 years experience and CPR for Healthcare Workers required. Ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing. Written & spoken fluency in Spanish preferred.
Sleep Technologist » Responsible for treatment, management, diagnostic testing, research, control, education and care of patients with sleep and wake disorders. Analysis, monitoring and recording of physiologic data during sleep and wakefulness to assess, diagnose, and assist in the treatment and research of disorders, syndromes and dysfunctions that are either sleep related, maifest during sleep or disrupt normal sleep and wake cycles and activites. Qualifications: Certificate of Completion – Polysomnography and Basic Life Support certification (CPR) with 1 yr experience required. RPSGT credential through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists; Membership in the American Association of Sleep Technologists and/or the American Academy of Sleep Medicine; CRT/RRT credential through the National Board of Respiratory Care and Advanced Cardiac Life Support/Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
